Russian church party – Olga and I
Two African brother and I in Church party
I lived alone in the YWAM office, where Larry, his
wife, daughter, and son-in-law had lived, and I was the only one who stayed
there when they had gone back to Canada for Thanksgiving and Christmas.
There was a party in the Russian church, and it
was not end until two or three o'clock in the morning that I went home, and I
fell asleep and did not get up until the evening, and I put on the Christmas
lights and hung them on the small Christmas tree, which was full of fish,
butterflies and owls that I had tied with Chinese knots, and the conifers
outside the window were wrapped in ice, like flashing popsicles or nature's
Christmas lights, and the office was warm because the public heating was fully
functioning.
I think it's a boring Christmas, and there was
silence everywhere, and I started playing the CD of praise and I looked out in
a daze, and then Jesus says to me, “Will you dance with me?” I got up and
danced, and went around in circles, and the snow began to fall outside of
window, and in this warm atmosphere, much better than the cold air outside, I began
to laugh and go around in circles again and again until I was exhausted.
I want to thank Jesus! He never forgot me, He
knew my needs, He never left me, and He was literally in my heart.
