27. Mosquitoes can not bite me

 

When I was Fu Hsing Junior College third grade, the girls were staying in the nunnery where the nuns lived. At that time, I loved Jesus, but also I have the normal services.

I have my devotional time at six o'clock to seven o'clock every morning and I recited a Bible verse every day, because other students did not get up early for habits, I did not disturb them, I had to use a table and a row of chair in the courtyard, when I lived in Tou Cheng town where there were a lot of mosquitoes that often were biting me then I was itchy everywhere. During my devotional time, I prayed to the Lord Jesus and said; "Do not bitten by mosquitoes in my devotional time." God really heard my prayer, devotional time each day that one hour, I saw mosquitoes covered my legs, but I would not bite, really wonderful!

26. Memorized Scripture verses

          

I studied Chemical Engineering second semester started to memorize Scripture verses, I recited a verse daily, I was often walking to review, or riding a bike to memorize, or going Luo Dong Night Market on the bus, I watched the outside scenery through the window, I memorized all the way to the Luo Dong main station, I memorized more verses, my heart filled more with joy by those verses, and the Words of God also nourished my spirit, soul and body's needs.

After that, it began memorized Hymns, and singing; "Jesus! Jesus! Sweetest voice ..."; I could sing all the way to Yilan, or while riding bicycle while singing Hymns, my heart of joy showed from my voice, sometimes I was laughing, sometimes smiling, walking with Jesus, nice!

At school, God was with me all the time, I often prayed the Lord for inquiry, even buy the clothes, I asked the Lord and He said; "good-looking or ugly? 'I would pray every big or small or Praise the Lord! That kind of simple pure heart, I had often thought back, I could come back the beginning style, I just trusted Him, and it would be more wonderful!

25. Nunnery

Fu Hsing junior college was special arrangement for the girls who lived at the nunnery, I saw nuns (sisters) spoke out Min-nan language fluently, they took care of the old people, they fed them with food, and the helped the old people's lives. These nuns come from so far countries, they gave up their marriages, left their families and ideals, only they believed in the Lord, they mainly served and sacrificed their lives, I personally admired them.

  Once I had rehearsal drama with a class leader and classmates, that class was the electronic practicum, school dean saw us in the classroom, not in the electronic classroom for practice, he thought we skipped class, then he wrote our names down, the drama could not rehearsal continually. After I cried out and returned back the nunnery. I went up to the roof; I thought my grievances, so I wanted to die. How to die? Gas suicide unlikely, because the kitchen was locked; cut wrist which was too much pain, and finally decided to bite my tongue for suicide, I would biting my tongue, the tongue was intense pain, but it did not squeeze a little blood; later, I heard the downstairs and my class leader to report me, and said: "He has told Dean and explained everything, it was no problem." I could not commit suicide, and I had a painful tongue which was sticking out, do not shrink back for long time.

This experience, I learned to meet the things, I faced the problems by myself, and I refused to commit suicide, but I no longer hurt myself. God keeps me alive, He wanted me to embark on a more long-term way and I learn more of God's Words, so that the girl worried even more unhappy days, it drew down period, becoming joy plus joy, and became one of my life starting points.

24. Out of the UN

 

Taiwan left the UN, and my heart was with the fate of my nation, everyone was responsible, I knew my country, I should have responsibility. And listen to the old saying: "When our war came against with Japanese, the young people gave study up and they joined the army." I wish I was born in that time; I could contribute for my country, and even shed blood, no turning back.

Exiting the United Nations that night, some female students and I drew some posters that almost covered the entire hall, because we were young people with passion. The next morning, , there were our patriotic posters at first glance, after the school decided to inspection seal, then posting, we have posted the night before, the school might allow the unconditional passing.

I think I should be on the political route, but I saw the dark side of politics, full of deceit and injustice, my heart was very sad, the nation and politics numbed increasingly, unlike the young period time was enthusiasm and courage. Now, I only left the country's blessings and prayers.

23. Jesus, please open the door

 

I went to the Fu Hsing fellowship and student home, I did not go to church, because of past experiences, I was fear others who did not love me, and I felt that I did not believe in Christ myself.

Once, I was at the library, then Fu Hsing Fellowship Chairman whose nickname was kitten who debated with me and said: "You have not eaten a food, and try it; no believe in God, you try it ..." I thought Taiwan temples more than Compare Churches, then So the temples of Gods were much bigger than the churches of Jesus. He challenged me and said: "You must be timid, afraid to go to church." I said: "This evening, I will go to church."

However, I was still timid as a mouse, wondered out of the church, I saw people go to church, I was hiding or pretending, just waiting outside for some time, I heard the service began, and I was very nervous, and uneasy, I was standing at the door, and prayed that Jesus was unknown, and said: "If you really are god for me, you open automatically this screen door and you open from the inside to the outside, not pushing by the human’s hands. Amen!" because I think: "From outside to inside will be very easy, just blowing the big wind, the screen door is pushed open from the inside to the outside, it is difficult." I've never been to that church; I do not know the screen door is from which direction to open? But I stood in the last step the screen door which was being opening automatically for me.

Since then, I have never left the Lord Jesus one day.

22. Like Brother Zhang

When we were in fellowship, Brother Zhang often came and encouraged us, he said; "He preached the gospel in the military, many people got saved, even his Master Chief have requested him not to preach the gospel." I have heard that was amazing.

One year's summer vacation, I was baptized, we had Mei Ren Li special service for three days, Brother Zhang and some older brothers led us for going door to door evangelism. As result, Brother Zhang chose me and other people and we became one of his group, in spreading gospel, and he was very powerful, while the other group of people who were outside of doors. Brother Zhang took us to ring the bell, then we were up the floor, and sitting in people's living room sofa, I felt a great sense of accomplishment. After I also went on door to door evangelism for the future; it had set up the foundation.

Each time, Brother Zhang came back to Fellowship, I have prayed to God; "I want to be like him as spiritual." Soon after, he got married; I gave him a picture which was made a piece of paper-cutting by me. After Brother Zhang and his wife came back for gathering once a month, often he was a legend in the church, Brother participated in the numbers of the Spirit-filled services, someone said; "He was filled of evil spirits, not to learn from him." But my desire is as same spiritual as Brother Zhang. Will God hear my prayer?

21. I have found

Pastor White baptized me



In 1977, the signs posted everywhere, and said "I’ve found." Then I accepted in the same building where the fourth floor tenant Mama Chu's invitation to Mei Ren Li church, and then I joined the Junior Fellowship, because someone picked me up, and I would stay there, there were people phoned me and cared about me, then I felt deeply someone who loved me in the Lord.

After I went to this church for six months, I was being invited to be baptized, for the first time I declined, on the eve of the second baptism, the church people said to me: "If you were baptized, they will be more care and more love over you." And they said; "Baptism is very simple ", just said, “three times of yes", you could do it. In order to win everyone who loves me, I went baptized.

That was on 31^st of December, the temperature was low, they were baptized with warm water, and there were a Pastor White who asked me three questions, I answered "yes", when I baptized over, I swam to another side, I thought to myself, and said; "Swimming is fun, I would like to play again."
 

I found Him really? I did not know truly, since I was not as same as people have said ─ salvation, and they said about Jesus, Where is He?
